My first book, Path to Truth: a Spiritual Guide to Higher Consciousness was published in 2000, by Writer's Press, one of the first internet publishing companies offering POD (Publishing on Demand). Ten years later the book is still in print published by iUniverse.com, the company that bought out Writer's Press. Last year I decided to publish it in eBook format after much soul searching. I was worried that the information was dated, based on my expanded consciousness. I asked my family and friends if I should pull the plug on the book. The resounding response was, "No, the book had helped so many seekers with their quest for spiritual knowledge." 

That same week I received an email from a reader thanking me for the the book and stating how much it had helped her. I believe that my guides were speaking through this reader. So, one day I sat quietly reading through the manuscript with a different consciousness from when I wrote it.  Finishing the manuscript I realized the lesson for me was to understand that consciousness is always evolving but we must remain humble. Additionally, everyone is evolving at different levels. Spiritual knowledge and wisdom is not about intellect; it is about awakening the lotus petals of the Chakras. The simplest phrase can transform one's consciousness no matter where she is on her spiritual path. Path to Truth is continuing to be my guide. Reality Check from Seth

I’m working from my bed. I fainted yesterday in the 96 degree weather at the Chickahominy POW wow in Charles City, Va. The short time I was at the POW wow was wonderful. My Native American brothers and sisters were wonderful hosts and when I had my fainting episode, they were very attentive and caring.  But all is well in my world and I see and feel myself being healthier and whole right now.

As I rest and contemplate on the events of my fainting, I thought about Seth. It is said that he coined the phrase: you create your reality.  I love the way he puts it: You are learning to be co-creators. You are learning to be gods as you now understand the term. You are learning responsibility—the responsibility of any individualized consciousness. You are learning to handle the energy that is yourself, for creative purposes.

I take full responsibility for what happened to me yesterday. I don’t blame God or believe that I had a spell of bad luck. I distinctly remembered thinking how I needed to get a medical checkup, but I didn’t want to use my present health care providers. At that time, they were just random thoughts.  To paraphrase what Seth says repeatedly in his book, Seth Speaks, by Jane Roberts, reality becomes what your mental thoughts project outwardly.

I got an EKG, blood work and a full medical examination by the medical emergency team of John Randolph Medical Center in Hopewell, Va.  Later when I looked into the hospital bathroom mirror and saw these soft ringlets of curls around my shoulders from the cool water they had poured on the back of neck at the fairgrounds. I laughed because the day before I had gone to the hair salon and settled for my typical straight hair style while thinking it was time to change to curls.  

Seth states, “You do not realize that you create your larger environment and know it by propelling your thoughts and emotions into matter—a breakthrough into three-dimensional life.”

I had studied about mental projection and knew this was a lesson in being aware of my random thoughts. Just think of all those random thoughts that are being propelled into matter by humanity, creating the reality of today’s world.

Hollywood is at it again sensationalizing the myth surrounding the date 2012. Unfortunately, many people will latch on to this idea of doom and gloom, because many ancient societies predicted that something monumental was going to happen. They pointed to an end of a time.

We are coming to the end of a great year. It takes 25,920 years for the equinoxes to move through all 12 zodiac signs. The planet Earth is now leaving the Age of Pisces, which has been the Christian era to enter the quadrant of Aquarius. Could this be the dawning of the New Age? An age that will embody the world’s dream of a “golden age.” Read more in my free ebook Path to Truth, p.8 &19.

The time leading up to 2012 is called the Great Awakening–a time when we will be awakened to a new consciousness or a time when humanity will be unified spiritually through a period of intense transformation. However, letting films like 2012, stir up fear within us will keep us stuck in the old programs.

The Great Awakening is the time allotted for cleansing and change-to allow us to prepare to vibrate at a higher level of consciousness or thinking. We don’t know what is going to happen. So, don’t quit your job, run up your credit or live hazardously trying to squeeze in life before 2012.

In July, I attended Gregg Braden’s workshop at the Unity village in Kansas City, Missouri. Gregg the author of Fractual Time and many other New Age books stated this isn’t the first time a great cosmic year has come to an end. And humankind survived to record the event. This is a new beginning. He stressed that we must live from the heart to stay strong and protect the Earth’s magnetic field, because our thoughts will either strengthen or weaken it. That's why we can't buy into the fear.
