Psychology of Book Success

You believe that you a great book. It’s your dream. The cover is appealing. The format is perfect, and the story will keep the reader turning the pages. But it’s not selling at the level of being a bestselling book. You promote your book through social media, advertising and even hiring a book marketing promoter. The selling numbers are good, but it doesn't last long. I discovered that a large percentage of promoting books is about the psychology of success.

The psychology of book success starts with knowing what you want. Do you just want to write a book, publish it and tell family and friends about it? Do you want to expand your list to include social media contacts? Do you want to be an Amazon bestselling author and/or New York Times bestselling author? Do you want to be a famous international, rich, successful author? You define what you desire and what success means to you.

Have you ever wondered why a book that you consider a wreck is a bestseller? I guarantee you that if you interviewed the author, he would say he knew what he wanted, and he stayed the course against all odds. 

Here’s what I learned. The first step is to write out exactly what you desire. Write a detailed description based on your visualization of what you desire. Be sure to include touchy-feely words.  If you don’t have a Definite Chief Aim, you won’t get the results you want for your writing career. It’s like wanting apples but planting seeds for oranges. Napoleon Hill, the author of several international bestsellers on motivational literature, defines the Definite Chief Aim as a burning desire or a definite purpose in your life. Of course, you can have more than one chief aim.

The second step you must do with your Definite Chief Aim is lock it in your subconscious mind. We manifest everything we desire in the subconscious mind. Dreams become a reality. Once you have planted it in your subconscious mind, then you can select thoughts that harmonize with your Chief Aim. The thing to remember is your thoughts create your world. By the time, you get to the promotional events for your book you’ll have created an environment based on success.

You have written out your Definite Chief Aim, locked it into your subconscious mind and now you want to place it somewhere you can review it daily or as often as needed to keep you focus. Add a gratitude statement and explain how you will give a service or pay forward.

Set specific times to review your progress and determine what needs to be added, deleted or changed from your Definite Chief Aim. Throughout the years, I have changed my Definite Chief Aim several times based on my emotional, mental and spiritual growth as an individual and gained knowledge of the publishing industry.

Computer Cursor Gone Crazy

When you’re a writer, you don’t want to have computer issues when editors and deadlines are involved. But things do happen. After a few repairs of my six years old computer by Geek Squad, I decided it was time to buy a new one. A day later, I had a new computer with all the latest updates. I looked forward to writing and blogging again.

On day two, as I happily worked on my manuscript, the cursor on my brand-new computer acted as if it was having a nervous breakdown, jumping all over the screen. I took a deep breath and clicked on the Help section. I followed the instructions, but the cursor continued to roam the screen. Finally, I turned to YouTube and found a tutorial on how to deal with a jumpy cursor. It didn’t work.

 I called the company’s technical service support section. A friendly technician checked the computer and installed a new driver. She asked me to test the computer.  I typed a few sentences in google docs and Microsoft word without any problems. Satisfied that everything was alright, I gleefully thanked her.  Twenty minutes later, the cursor jumped to another section of the document I was now working on and typed words backward. I contacted the technical service department again. The technician performed the same review of my computer. I tested it, and it typed correctly. I waited until the next day to use the computer again. After several minutes, the cursor danced across my document. I pulled out the computer delivery box and starred at the computer. Then, I had an epiphany.

The problem wasn’t the computer; it was me. I have a high level of electricity in my auric field that affects electronic devices. Since I hadn’t had an incident in quite some time, I had forgotten about it. Years ago, I blew out a microwave, a fuse box, and a refrigerator light. I only recently started wearing watches again. They never worked for me.

I turned to Dr. Google in search of an explanation and a solution for my unique problem. I read several articles on high levels of electricity in the human aura field, but none offered a solution. Except one of the blogs mentioned that quartz crystal is a type of crystal used in watches, computers, and other devices to keep time.

I immediately knew the jumpy cursor’s problem. The computer shares desk space with several large quartz crystals as well as another tray of crystals under the desk. I realized that the cursor was spastic because it was getting an overdose of quartz crystal energy. Its timing mechanism was offbeat.

I took off my crystal jewelry and moved the trays of crystals to another room. The cursor stopped dancing, and now I can work. Oh, my old computer works too.   

Predictions-Let's Build New Foundations in 2020

As an intuitive numerologist, I look at the personal numbers of individuals, groups, places, and dates of significant events to discover and intuit what happened or what might happen.  Numbers are energy forms, like everything else in the Universe, which vibrates, and therefore has a frequency.

Numbers correspond to the letters of the English alphabet.  I can tell you a lot about yourself by just knowing the name you use every day and your birth date. Additionally, your personal year cycle, calculated by adding together your day and month of your birth and the present year. This numerical vibration allows you to see how your energy interacts with the yearly calendar cycle.   

The numerical vibration for the calendar year 2020 is what numerologists call a 4 Universal Year. Just add all the numbers together until you have a single digit (2+0+2+0=4). This energy affects the lives of everyone just in different ways, depending on the person’s own personal numbers, as stated above.

Here are some general facts about Universal Year 4 and what to expect:

·       The vibration 4 is a number that connects mind-body-spirit with the physical world of structure and order. It represents such traits as logic, stability, dependability, and consistency. This year involves tearing down old societal structures. The very structure of the Universe is built on the back of the 4, such as the 4 directions, 4 seasons, 4 sides of a square, 4 elements (time, energy, space, and matter) and the 4 divisions of the day. We will be much more concerned with the Earth and environmental issues.   

·       There is already an uneasiness about the security and governance of our society. Structures that have been in place for centuries are being disruptive or destroyed. This unrest that most of us feel is part of the energetic transformational process we are collectively experiencing and individually. The 4 is offering us perfect 20/20 (4) vision to see where the wounds are and heal them. Globally, governments that abuse power and that are not for the good of the people will have a difficult time maintaining control. Most will suffer as the pyramidal structure fall. Protest by the people and for the people will be prevalent.

·        We will see a shift in values and more like-minded people forming communities to increase human consciousness to a higher frequency where we care about each other. These new communities will build new foundations that support humanity. 2020 will be the beginning of the Awakening of the shift of consciousness to create a new societal foundation. By 2024, we will live in a totally different world with advancements in technology.

·       Individually, you can release any negative energy in your world and build a solid foundation for your life. The 4 Universal Year is about self-development and self-empowerment. You’ll have to increase your frequency by using mind power to overcome any low-frequency vibrations of jealousy, depression, anger, and hate. Ground yourself in your day to day life because the energies of the universe will be intense.  The food and health industries, and big pharma will face severe challenges as the paradigm of putting money first before the well-being of humanity will also start to collapse. As systems transform, you’ll have to be in charge of your life. Regardless of the economic conditions of the world, you might want to approach your finances from a mind-creative perspective. ·       As I mentioned earlier, numbers correspond to letters. The letters for 4 are D, M, V. The “D” is for door and direction. What life door will you open, and what direction will you go?  We must be careful not to open doors based on peer pressure and untruths. Use your discernment to decide what is right for you.

·       The letter “M” represents the mind, magic, and manifestation. This world is full of many possibilities and potentials. Be in awareness to see all the opportunities offered to you.

·       The “V” signifies the vessel that is either empty or full. How you see it determines the outcome of your endeavors, hopefully, victorious.

·       The numerical vibrations 4, 44, and 444 are associated with angels and angelic communication. This is a great time to go within and ask for their guidance and help whenever you need it. Build a bridge between you and the angelic realm.
