A New Movie and an Old Book for the Holidays

A movie that you might want to put on your list to see this winter -The Way  starting Martin Sheen and directed by his son Emilio Estevez- had a short viewing in movie house in October and November. You can purchase the DVD on Amazon.com.  Martin Sheen plays Tom, an American doctor who comes to St. Jean Pied de Port, France to collect the remains of his adult son (played by Emilio Estevez), killed in the Pyrenees in a storm while walking the Camino de Santiago, also known as The Way of Saint James. Rather than return home, Tom decides to embark on the historical pilgrimage to honor his son's desire to finish the journey. What Tom doesn't plan on is the profound impact the journey will have on him and his "California Bubble Life.

Sounds familiar? You may want to read The Camino: a Journey of the Spirit by Shirley MacLaine (2000). She actually walked the Camino de Santiago in thirty days at a rate of twenty miles per day. Her book is about the many grueling challenges she faced on the journey and the spiritual insight she gained. What a courageous woman. But as you might know from her first book, Out on a Limb, she is one who thinks out of the box and follows her spirits.  I thought about how I followed my spirit to walk in crop circles in the southern part of England and how it changed my life. I would have to think deeply about walking the Camino de Santiago. Right now the crop circles and the Chartres labyrinth in France are calling me. And I have to answer that call. 11.29,11 What's In My Life Testing Me?

Numbers are the very foundation of our lives. They are spiritual tools to help us to wake up and live more satisfying lives. 11.29.11 doesn’t get as much attention as 11.11.11, but it is just as powerful as the later. Both dates add up to the Master number 33 of compassion and sacrifice. However, the vibration 29 gives today a slightly different meaning. 29 is a testing vibration. Today have your eyes wide open in your decision-making. For example, many of our systems such as the banks, food and, pharmaceutical industries do not give us the true facts. It’s about money. Therefore, it is up to each individual to discover the truth about how she or he interacts with money, medicine and food. Look for the hidden information. Why continue to eat chicken that’s full of cholesterol and fat if you have high cholesterol? Medicine might lower your numbers, but it will not cure heart disease. Then you get hooked into the insurance industry, gradually eating away your money as you continue to eat chicken. Don’t blame the industries; take charge of your life. The energy of today helps you become aware and mindful of the negative forces such as societal pressures or being a slave to your taste buds. 14 Purvian Shamans Murdered

In 2003, I had the opportunity to travel to Peru with a group of 72 people, the Children of Light, to visit sacred sites and participate in special ceremonies with several Peruvian Shamans (curanderos). It was quite an experience and one I will never forget. I was shocked when recently it was brought to my attention that fourteen Peruvian shamans in a remote Amazon region were allegedly murdered by the orders of a local mayor.  He ordered the killings because they were going to form an association. Their belief system and shamanic healing went against his evangelical Christian beliefs.

When you read this article about the deaths of the 14 shamans, you will think you have been transported back to time of witch hunts or even further back to the slaughter of pagans by the Romans. This article speaks to my spirit. I know from personal experience the negative reaction of people when I would tell them I am a numerologist and tarot card reader or that I attend a New Thought Church. 

In ancient times, mystery schools were established to protect esoteric teachings because they were desecrated, and teachers were killed. Silence developed among those who practiced and believed in Metaphysics. Students of Truth were afraid to speak their truth. When Shirley McLaine’s first book, Out on a Limb, was published in 1986; she became the laughing stock of late night T.V. A lot has changed since Shirley McLaine came out of the closet with her book; but we still have a long way to go.

Every ending is a beginning. The wheel of life keeps turning. Consciousness is ever expanding, spiraling into new quadrants of creation. As the electromagnetic fields and frequencies of our Sun and Earth change, our perception of reality changes also. Our capacity to access higher dimensions is increasing. We are remembering that we are multidimensional beings; that there are infinite levels of existence beyond a dualistic, 3D view of reality. Several astrological alignments and shifts indicate we have reached a crucial juncture. The next full moon peaks on the eve of 11/11/11, a date of great numerological significance, and coincides with Ceres, Neptune, and Chiron ending their retrograde phases. Humanity has arrived at a long-prophesied crossroads, a quantum splitting of the worlds — one world where we awaken to our divinity, the other where we remain in duality. Do we choose the red pill, or the blue? Do we ascend into unity, or remain in “The Matrix” of separation? The light of the full moon reveals where we are, and where we are choosing to go.

This full moon peaks at 18º Taurus-Scorpio. In Taurus, we discover what really matters, what is worth our time, energy, and money. In Scorpio, we learn to face and feel everything; we realize that everything changes. Three celestial bodies complete their yearly retrograde phases within a few days of this full moon, providing a cosmic green light to take a big step forward. Ceres turned direct on November 6 at 16° Pisces, signaling a readiness to fully live what we learned since she stationed retrograde at 1ºAries on June 26. While retrograde, Ceres guided us to deepen our inner listening and turn our compassionate, nurturing energies toward ourselves as well as others.  On November 9, Neptune turns direct at 28° Aquarius, and the next day, November 10, Chiron turns direct at 1º Pisces. The ending of their yearly retrogrades, which began on June 2 at 1º Pisces and on June 8 at 6º Pisces, respectively, amplifies celestial support for ascension in consciousness and collaboration on a larger scale than ever before.

This full moon also aspects the ongoing square between Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries, intensifying drives for liberty, justice, and reform. Mars, which signifies personal will and is the lower octave of Pluto, further amplifies the Uranus–Pluto square, forming first a quincunx to Uranus (exact on November 12 at 1° Virgo–Aries) and then a trine to Pluto (November 23 at 6° Virgo–Capricorn). Mars also trines Jupiter (exact on November 16 at 3° Virgo–Taurus), generating a grand earth trine throughout the second half of November, fueling optimism, inventiveness, and the drive to resolve long-standing issues. Only eight hours after the peak of this full moon, Mars begins an extended passage through Virgo; due to its approaching retrograde, Mars remains in the 6th sign of health, healing, and service until July 3, 2012, shifting our attention from focusing on criticism to discernment, from wanting to be right to wanting to be helpful, spurring us to improve or release what’s not effective or relevant.

Each of us has our own individual journey, as well as a vital role to play in the evolution of humankind. How we experience this momentous time of transition depends on the choices we make moment to moment. 11.11.11. A Day of Potent Potentials

In the Metaphysical world the date 11.11.11 is a big thing. There are many blogs and articles floating in cyberspace about the significance of the date, from spiritual awakenings to portal openings. As a numerologist, I believe that numbers talk. They give the past, present and future blueprint of any event involving numbers.  Pythagoras, the Father of Mathematics and Numerology, stated, “Numbers are the building blocks of the Universe.” 

Let’s look at 11.11.11 from a numerical perspective and see why this date is called the Awakener of the Light.

According to Greek Mythology, the historical Ages of man are divided into 5 time-spans: the Golden Age, the Silver Age, the Bronze Age, the Heroic Age and the Iron Age. The Iron Age, our present Age, represents a time in human history of wars, violence, destruction,and human misery.The Hindu system calls these Ages-Yuga and a Yuga can last for hundreds of thousands of years. The Iron Age is synonymous with the Kali Yuga.

Within each Age are astrological ages, depicting the development of human consciousness. An astrological age is calculated by the time it takes for the Vernal Equinox to move from one constellation of the zodiac into the next, lasting about two thousand years. 11.11.11 is an important date as we shift  from the Age of Pisces into the Age of Aquarius. 

Hidden within this date are the Master numbers 11, 22 and 33. Each one represents a different level of consciousness evolution.  L.Dow Balliet, known for originating Western numerology, characterizes the first three Master numbers 11, 22, 33 as potent potential. 11.11.11. is a date that offers potent potential for humankind to awaken to the Light or Higher Consciousness.

11 is the first Master number and is symbolic of a soul’s journey into Higher Consciousness. It is the challenger, giving the soul the lessons he or she needs to move up the spiritual hierarchy. Looking closely at the number, it can be counted as 2, meaning the soul can choose unity or conflict. The 11 also looks like a doorway or portal. The soul must go through this doorway to reach the next level of mastery, the 22.

By adding 11 and 11 the result is 22, the second level of journey into Higher Consciousness. At this level the soul is called a Master Builder, being able to  access light energy to create instant manifestations-small or large. The third-eye of the soul is activated, increasing telepathic and intuitive experiences..

The 11:11 often pops up on timing mechanisms, T.V. license plates, and etc., when we least expect it as a wake-up call to remind us who we really are and our inherent powers. Jesus said we will be able to do greater things than him.  

11 +11+11=33, this Master number calls for altruism-selflessness. Reaching this stage, the soul focuses on the love and care of others. The soul has worked many lifetimes overcoming the challenges of the lower vibrations of human consciousness such as fear, attachment, and judgement. Once the soul masters the Hermetic Laws, he can exist on this plane to be a living  demonstration of how light absorbs darkness. By the way, the word light adds up to an 29/11, and so does the name Jesus.

The date 11.11.11 marks the establishment of a Light Foundation on Earth.

How we experience this date depends on the evolution of our own individual soul consciousness. Some will be asleep and not know or notice anything special that day. Others who are aware and awake will sense and feel a shift in their own individual consciousness on one of the three steps of the pyramid. Then there are  souls or entities already vibrating in 5^Th Dimension energy. They are not saints or sagas, but they know who they are, know the laws of the Universe and live and abide by them. They are the Children of Light here to help others who choose the Path of Light to raise their vibrations. How do you recognize them? By their light; it’s forever shining brightly, full of compassion and love.

Do you Know your Birth Population Number?

I just discovered a very interesting website-http://populationaction.org. Population Action International works with local and national leaders in developing countries to improve their reproductive health care programs and policies. PAI shows how these programs are critical to global concerns, such as preventing HIV, combating the effects of environmental degradation and climate change, and strengthening national security.  

I learned a lot from this site about the world population count. On October 31, 2011, the world’s 7^th billionth person will be born. I wonder who that will be. Each of us is part of the population count. With the world growing by more than 200,000 people a day, it's hard to know where you fit into the population count. Until now.  A new app lets you find out your number and share it. Get it now. I discovered on the day I was born I became number 2,349,643,844 in the population count.

As a numerologist I decided to delve more into this grand number. I added each digit of my total number to find out the sum total and determine its meanings. Since numbers are the foundation of the Universe, I wanted to see how this number worked with my destiny number (22) and birth path number (3). The sum total was 44/8, a Master Number, which signifies Adeptship. I was amazed how much this number fitted in with my other numbers: a creative student of esoteric principles.

October 28, 2011 and a New Consciousness

Many of us are waiting and watching for any signs that the Mayan calendar has ended. Two weeks ago, I posted the following statement: According to Swedish biologist and author Carl Johan Calleman and one of my favorite authors Barbara Hand Clow the Mayan calendar is a spiritual device that describes the evolution of human consciousness from ancient times into the future and that the great shift in consciousness will take place on October 28, 2011. 

Calleman’s book, The Mayan Calendar and the transformation of Consciousness, published in 2004, shows the connection between cosmic evolution and actual human history. He contends that the prophetic Mayan calendar is not keyed to the movement of planetary bodies. Instead, it functions as a metaphysical map of the evolution of consciousness and records how spiritual time flows--providing a new science of time. Clow’s book, The Alchemy of Nine Dimensions: The 2011/2012 Prophecies and Nine Dimension of Consciousness, supports the above theory and even go further to assert that the beginning of this new era begins not on December 21, 2012--but on October 28,2011--making the time of the great shift in consciousness just around the corner. 

It's no longer around the corner. Today is October 28, 2011. My question still is will it happen with a big bang or go unnoticed? The day is just starting.
