Paraskavedekatriaphobia or Trishkaidekphobia
If you are afraid of the date Friday 13th, then you have Paraskavedekatriaphobia. You may fear leaving your home or making any plans on Friday the 13th because you fear something negative will happen. And
this year we have already had two of them, February 13th and March
13th. The third one will take place on November 13, 2009. Those who fear
this date will be happy to know that this triple combination will not
come again until 2012, when there is a non-leap year.
I
know there are disasters that support the unlucky energy attached to
this date and number such as Apollo 13, and the mass killing of the
Templars on Friday 13, 1307. But it is really unlucky or another one of
those ancient truths that has been distorted in history. And based on
the Law of Attraction, if we think Friday the 13th is unlucky than we
will attract negative things to us.
However, it is interesting that the founding fathers of the USA, who were Masons, revered the number so much they designed the dollar bill around it.
· 13 stars above the eagle
· 13 vertical bars on the shield
· 13 steps on the Pyramid
· 13 leaves on the olive branch
· 13 berries on the olive branch
· 13 elements on either side of the base of Washington's portrait (8 leaves + 5 berries)
· 13 total letters/digits in both 1776 (4) and its Roman Numeral equivalent MDCCLXXVI (9)
· 13 letters in ANNUIT COEPTIS
· 13 letters in E PLURIBUS UNUM
· 13 O on the reverse of the one dollar bill
Here are some additional facts about the number 13:
