Harriet Tubman, My Mentor in Spirit

February  is dedicated to honoring African Americans for their outstanding contributions to the world. My favorite heroine is Harriet Tubman, whom I believed had a very special intuitive gift.

Harriet Tubman was born into slavery in 1819 or 1820, in Dorchester Country, Maryland. Raised under harsh living conditions, Harriet learned early in life to be strong and believe in herself, so much so, she escaped from slavery to freedom in Canada. Harriet’s love for her family and others still held in slavery resulted in her returning to Maryland to lead over 300 people to freedom by the Under Ground Railroad.

Tales of her exploits leading able-body men, women, and children through perilous surroundings without losing one person are highly publicized. One may wonder how Harriet could outwit the patrols or slave hunters and their dogs that searched the woods and roads for runaway slaves. In many of the historical texts, Harriet is described as devoid of personal fear, shrewd, determined and courageous, all great qualities that aided her. However, little is mentioned revealing her special gift. A gift I believe helped Harriet to successfully accomplish her escapes to freedom not one time but many times.

As a child Harriet was hit in the head by a white overseer for refusing to tie up another slave who had attempted to escape slavery.  Due to this childhood injury, Harriet suffered Narcolepsy, a sleeping disorder. Harriet would fall asleep at any time and anywhere. Yet she and the other slaves were never apprehended or harmed while escaping to freedom. Harriet would actually threaten anyone with a gun who tried to return to slavery because of fear of the unknown.  I believe that Harriet had an unwavering faith in a Higher Power to take care of her and the others. When she felt into a sleep slumber, I imagine that Harriet listened to God who was her guide. Not only did she listen, she trusted the directions God gave her to overcome all obstacles in her path to freedom.

After her role as a champion for freedom, she served as a soldier, spy and nurse during the Civil War. Harriet a woman of no education and limited resources had a resounding fortitude of strength and the love of life and freedom--the qualities that really count. Who is your heroine or hero?

Numerology-Rise and Fall of Collective Consciousness 2016-2017

Numerology is about learning mathematically how the universe and everything in it works. If you take the time to understand this science, your mind will awaken from illusions and mind programs of this dimension. To this end, it is necessary to understand a few basic rules of numerology and universal laws. First, numbers are energy forms with frequencies. Pythagoras, the father of modern Numerology, taught that God, the Master Builder, created the universe according to sacred geometry patterns.

Second rule: all numbers have positive and negative characteristics and follow the Hermetic Laws of this dimension. Quantum numerology has its own set of laws, but let's stick to this dimension.

As an intuitive numerologist, I look at the personal numbers of individuals, groups, places and dates of significant events to discover and intuit what happened or what might happen. This blog will focus on the collective consciousness of humanity and its effect on 2016 and 2017.

Collective consciousness (group mind) is the sum total of the thoughts of humanity. Our individual thoughts co-create not only our personal realities but also contribute to the collective consciousness of humanity. However, I believe there is a Power that gives the final okay on all creations. Nevertheless, we are still responsible for our individual lives and humanity. It is like the adage- All For One, and One For All.

To understand 2017, we must revisit 2016. In numerology, 2016 is a nine year. We add all the numbers together to get to a single digit-nine (2+0+1+6=9). Nine represents completion, compassion, and humanitarian. The nine energy offers humanity the chance to make the world a better place through forgiveness.

The ancient Chaldeans considered the number nine so sacred they did not include it in their numerology system. They believed nine to be  the number of God. Whatever single number you multiply the number nine with, the final number will always be a nine, for example: 2X9=18 and 1+8=9 or 3X9=27 and 2+7=9. No other number can do this.

How did the nine vibration play out in 2016? We have to go back one hundred and eighty years to get the answer. Every 180 years (1+8=9) important changes happen in the world that have worldwide implications. The last time the nine energy dramatically impacted the world was in 1836-the year of a US Presidential Election. A new political party-the Whigs- was formed. The issues of that time included slavery, international affairs, and economic growth. Collective consciousness was full of fear and power over others.

The years that follow show the effect of the negative thinking of humanity-the US civic war. The war could have been avoided, lives saved, if the collective consciousness thinking had been one of love, light and knowing we are all one. Slavery should have never existed in this dimension, especially in the United States, the country of freedom liberty and justice. One hundred and eighty years later, in 2016, the United States, failed again by focusing on the negative qualities of the vibration nine-fear and separatism.

The Universe is always giving us new opportunities, full of possibilities and probabilities, to create a better world. The calendar year 2017 is a 10/1 universal year in numerology (2+0+1+7=10) and (1+0=1). In the Tarot Deck of cards the 10/1 is represented by the cards-Wheel of Fortune and the Magician. They both represent new beginnings. Although the Magician might turn the wheel of destiny for humanity, we decide whether it will rise or fall depending on our thoughts, choices and actions. Will we choose: love or hate, unity or separatism, truth or fear?  Self-discipline and compassion must be the guiding force to lead us to respect and honor each other.
Remember that the universe is just spinning its wheels, repeating the same pattern over and over in different forms. It's humanity who is evolving.
