Can You Use Your Mind to Create Your Reality?

Can you use your mind to create your reality? The answer is yes. We do it all the time, creating a world full of adventures, emotions, challenges, and successes. In the previous blog - It's not Enough to Dream, You Have to Take Action posted on 9/30/14- I ended with a question.  What do you do when your book goes from being on top of the bestseller list to not being on it? The answer to that question is directly related to your state of being.

There are many spiritual and man-made laws governing our world. I wrote about them in my book, Path to Truth: a Spiritual Memoir. Click here. Most people know about the Law of Attraction, pulling to you anything, person or place with a similar energy frequency.  But your negative or positive thoughts and feelings determine the attraction. The Law of Mind states that the thoughts you select with your conscious mind are manifested into form by the action of your subconscious mind.

Recently, I attended the World Congress of Quantum Medicine conference in Hawaii. The discussion by noted scientists and physicians centered around the new science, Quantum physics that confirms what spiritual teachers have been saying for aeons: your thoughts create your world. Dr. Joe Dispenza, author of Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself, Click here, states, "We are part of a vast invisible field of energy, which contains all possible realities and respond to our thoughts ad feelings.

If your creative project is not where you want it to be on the ladder of success, I suggest you observe your thoughts and feelings before you blame outside forces, pay more money to promote your book, or spend a lot of time on social media. There will come a time when you can tweak your promotional plan, but for now start with your thoughts, feelings, and belief patterns.

Three ways you can do this: journaling, talking to a trusted friend or doing mind mapping. I will use all three to look at cognitive behavior, but I especially like mind-mapping. I learn about it from Michael Gelb's book, How to Think Like Leonard da Vinci: Seven Steps to Genius Every DayClick Here.  According to Wikipedia, A mind map is a diagram used to visually organize information. A mind map is often created around a single concept, drawn as an image in the center of a blank landscape page, to which associated representations of ideas such as images, words and parts of words are added. Major ideas are connected directly to the center concept, and other ideas branch out from those. (Wikipedia.rg/wiki/Mind_map)

I use a tree as my center image. My thoughts and feelings are attached to the branches and leaves. I always write the first word or image that comes to mind. Hours or a day later when I review my map, I often see the negative patterns and relationships between thoughts and feelings. It is these toxic, habitual patterns that produce negative results in your reality. For example, if you don't value yourself,  how can you value your creative project? Everything is energy. With a negative feeling about yourself, you are streaming out negative energy touching everything you are involved with.

Mystics and now quantum physicists are saying change your thoughts, change your life. When you change what you think, feel, or do, you can influence an event or situation in your reality.  In the next blog, we will explore this more in depth and learn other strategies to create the reality you desire.

I would like to hear from you. Let me know if these articles are helping you and how you are doing accomplishing your chief aim.
