Dear Friends,

Have you been feeling “off” lately, and/or noticing others around you acting strangely? Once again solar activity has been high; an X-Class flare (the strongest category, which can trigger planet-wide radio blackouts and long-lasting radiation storms) and coronal mass ejection peaked a few days ago, on October 23. One of the clearest explanations I’ve come across of how space weather affects everyone on Earth comes from Lisa Renee:

“The best way to understand what is happening to the lower mental bodies on the planet is to apply the context of a computer hard drive file storage system that requires a file maintenance defragmentation. This “defrag” process scans to find all broken links, fragmented or corrupt files, and organizes them in the most efficient way to recover and retrieve the hard data into usable formats. If the internal data is not repairable or usable (i.e. appropriate for the next stages of the evolution journey) it may be effectively deleted. This changes our life in a radical way, as things that were supporting the use of those old file systems, may no longer be there or available for continued use. This forces our transformation whether we like it or not.

When great fragmentation occurs, as it has within these human collective lower mental body fields, the accumulation does not allocate enough “space” to store a complete “mental file”, but puts large gaps (holes) in between these mental body “file” units. (Otherwise compared to memories) Essentially what this means in the individual experience is people in 3D start to “lose their thought-forms”, or lose coherency in their thought patterns.  If they do not know how to retrain how they think and process multidimensional reality, they can revert to more infantile or primitive behavior.” Read the full article at Sign up for free notices on solar activity at and a more detailed newsletter at

Equinoxes, solstices, and their midpoints are important turning points in the yearly cycle. We’re approaching the midpoint between fall and winter in the northern hemisphere, a transition long commemorated by many cultures. Halloween and All Saints Day stem from of pre-Christian rites; bobbing for apples was a form of divination, while costumes were originally animal skins donned as a way of shape shifting. To the ancient Celts, this was Samhain, a time of taking stock, assessing what's needed for the future, and honoring the ancestors, when the veils between the worlds appear the thinnest. The ritual of the Dumb Supper, a meal held in silent communion with those who have passed, remains a powerful healing ritual for many. At this time: “The gates of Life and Death are opened: the Sun Child is conceived; the dead walk and to the living is revealed the Mystery: that every ending is but a new beginning. We meet in time out of time, everywhere and nowhere, here and there, to greet the Lord of Death who is Lord of Life, and the Triple Goddess who is the circle of rebirth.” (From The Spiral Dance by Starhawk)

The brighter the light, the darker the shadow. As solar flares and outer planetary alignments intensify, as the Earth ascends in vibration, everything that has been held in the unconscious, everything that has been denied or projected, surfaces for integration and transmutation. We can run, but no longer hide, from the evolutionary forces of change. The full moon which peaks on Monday, October 29 at 12:49 PM PDT show us how far we have come, and what we must deal with now. It shows us the limits we need to respect, and the limitations we must transcend.

Scorpio forces us to confront our fears or addictions, and release what we have outgrown—stifling jobs, relationships, lifestyles, institutions -- whatever is oppressive and unsustainable. Letting go is not inherently painful; it's the holding on that causes suffering. What is dead or dying in your life? What is crying to be born? Taurus’ spiritual task is to develop and live in alignment with one’s core values. This includes our attitudes toward money and security, enjoyment and self-esteem. The global economic crisis, which began in 2008 when Pluto (the modern ruler of Scorpio) entered Capricorn, continues to galvanize worldwide movements for financial reform, as well the creation of alternative currencies and collaborative consumption. The upside of the downturn has been increased creativity and connection; millions now use online communities such as,, and, demonstrating that renting, sharing, or bartering are not only viable but also superior options to single ownership. For more on this, visit; watch a wonderful video on money and how we can transition to an economy based on people sharing their gifts, as well as access to Charles Eisenstein’s revolutionary book, Sacred Economics at

Saturn’s conjunction with the Sun in Scorpio emphasizes that this is a time of reckoning, reconciliation, and restitution, of honoring our responsibilities and interdependence. Scorpio deals with shared resources and power, and with Saturn and Pluto in mutual reception (each transiting the other’s sign) for the next three years, plus Uranus-Pluto squaring each other through 2015, this Full Moon highlights where we have been duped and dominated, urging each of us to do our part by owning our power and thinking out of the box.

This full moon also highlights where we need to transform our personal relationships. Saturn’s grand trine with Ceres in Cancer and Neptune and Chiron in Pisces summons forth the intuitive, nurturing, compassionate power of the feminine to show the way. The Moon’s trine to Pluto, along with Mars’ opposition to Jupiter and conjunction to the Great Attractor at 14º Sagittarius, makes it easier to see and take our next step. Our solar system, along with our entire Milky Way galaxy, and its stellar neighborhood of another 40 galaxies, each with their billions of stars, are all moving towards an even greater gravitational mass called the Great Attractor. Gravity bends light; light encodes information, so any cosmic body aligning with these super powerful transmitting sources opens up a wormhole -- a shortcut in time and space -- enabling us to grasp things ordinarily hidden or beyond our field of awareness.

Venus in Libra opposes Uranus at 5$ Aries and squares Pluto at 7$ Capricorn from November 1 to 3, generating a potent cardinal T-square, emphasizing the need for cooperation, ingenuity, and integrity. November 3, the Moon enters Cancer, forming a dynamic cardinal grand cross with Venus, Uranus, and Pluto, sparking radical insights and actions. November 6 Mercury stations retrograde (4$ Sagittarius), bringing its trickster element to the fore; the only other time Mercury has stationed on a US Presidential Election day was in the 2000 Bush - Gore race, which was rife with contentions of miscounts, disenfranchisement of minority voters, and rigged voting machines. Mercury, because of its retrograde phase (November 6 to November 26), will make three squares to Neptune (October 29, November 13, and December 11; all at 1º Sagittarius-Pisces) forcing us to double check "the facts", and also use our intuition to find out what’s really true.

Use the light of this full moon to see and take the next big step on your path, and remember: “Now is the time to not only hold your own power, but to help bring it out in every single person you touch. Every time you pass someone in the street, every time you say hello, shake a hand, give a hug, this is the time, dear ones. This is not a practice run.” (The Group, channeled by Steve Rother)

Who is Mitt Romney?-His Numbers Tell It All

Update: This blog was posted January 24, 2012. I decided to post it again because it is so on point regarding the personality of Mitt Romney. Pundits are saying that the Republican base has connected with Romney. They have connected with the candidate but not the man. The Romney that showed up for the first debate was the "Corporate Executive", defending his turf. In the second debate he lacked that confidence because he faced a Master Number "Obama is an 11". When Obama is in his true form he is at the top of his game. Romney lapsed back into the negative aspect of the 3 vibration-difficulty in expressing himself with clarity and eloquence.

Who is Willard Mitt Romney and why can’t he connect with his Republican base? The answers are in his numerology numbers. As shown below Romney has a 6 destiny number and 9 life path. The most striking revelation on his name and birth date path is the number of 3’s.

            9  1              9            6    5      =      30/3
    Willard          Mitt        Romney
    5 33 94         4   22     9   45 7    =     57/12/3
             5933194        4922       64557      =      87/15/6

             March      12       1947
                         3                   3               21/3 = 9

Let’s look at how Mitt Romney’s numbers give a clear and authentic picture of who he is.  Not only does he have an abundance of 3’s on his name path but a triple combination on his birth path. The number 3 often called the “Divine Child of God, " is a happy, luck, sensitive and blessed vibration. I know most of you are thinking this doesn't fit Romney. Let me explain.

The numbers 1-9 are divided into sets of 3’s and Romney’s birth name numbers and birth date number fall into the concord of 3-6-9 that vibrates with the artistic, inspirational and spiritual realm. It makes sense that Romney channels much of his energy into his Mormon religion being a lay leader in the church. However, he suppressed his artistic right brain gifts and leaned heavily on his left/logical brain to achieve material success.  A large part of his pursuit of money and power was due to his childhood upbringing and psychological need to garnish the approval of his father and others, moving away from his true 3-6-9 nature. Romney can’t articulate who he is and connect with people because he isn’t living his authentic self. He is similar to the character in the movie Pretty Woman portrayed by Richard Gere, a ruthless corporate executive, who wasn’t in touch with himself and yearned for his father’s approval. Family and friends describe Romney as a gentle, playful and loving person; unfortunately through a childhood of strict and stiff conditions he suppressed and hide this part of himself from the public to protect his inner child. His biggest challenge in life and in this campaign is to learn to be comfortable in his own shoes.

Those with an abundance of 3’s on their path are highly emotional people who sometimes lack self-esteem and easily get scattered when rejected or criticized. They also have challenges in verbal communication or are great communicators. Often they have to overcome speech impediments or have difficulty in expressing their feelings. They sound passionless. In the GOP debates, Romney is bombarded constantly with negative energy from the other candidates. This keeps him emotionally unbalance and not able to articulate clear and poignant responses. Even though, he is fighting back now with his own negative rhetoric it is not his nature to be an attack dog. Romney does well in debates when he is scripted or quiet. The negative GOP campaign is going against his true authentic nature of the sensitive Divine Child of God. He is not only fighting his opponents but himself. This campaign like no other one is pushing him to be authentic.

The 6 on his path shows his love of family and church. He refuels his energy through them. However, he has to be in control, telling them how to live their lives.  Also the 6 destiny is the vibration of service and responsibility. His tax forms show that he has given large amount of money to his church and other charities. He really believes that he can make a difference. He is a humanitarian. With a 9 birth path, Romney desires to play in the leadership arena. The position as the chief of 2002 Salt Lake City’s Olympic organizing committee was perfect for him.

His challenge in this life time is to learn how to express his authentic self; if not, he will never gain the popularity and support he needs to win anything.

Dear Friends,

As our solar system spirals through space, we are bathed in ever changing geometries of light. Each new moon beams another set of evolutionary instructions, which when followed, expand our consciousness and capacity for creation. New moons are optimal times to reflect on where we have been, and where we want to go next. What have you learned about yourself in the last four weeks? What are you being called to focus on now?

The next new moon forms on Monday, October 15 at 5:03 AM PDT in Libra, the sign of balance, partnership, and peace. Libra’s evolutionary goal is to relate to all beings as equals. Libra builds on the lessons of Virgo -- discernment rather than fault-finding, self-improvement instead of self-deprecation, service as opposed to servitude. The degree to which we have mastered the lessons of Virgo determines how well we do in achieving the goals of Libra -- harmonious, mutually beneficial relationships. If we project our shadow, rather than working on ourselves to become whole, we find ourselves in unbalanced relationships, either losing ourselves or dominating others. As evolutionary forces accelerate and intensify, whatever remains in our shadow is being brought to light. We’re all dealing with our personal unconscious, and the collective projections as well. A great mantra for these times is: What can I learn from this? What would Love do? Our every thought, word, and deed either helps move things forward, or digs the old ruts deeper. The more we integrate and transmute our shadow, the more light we hold, and the wider our hearts open. That’s the name of the game on planet Earth right now; we’re shifting from duality to unity, from polarization to cooperation, from a dominator paradigm to a heart-centered reality. The major changes we are experiencing -- in our lives and around the globe -- are the birthing pains of a new world.

For the past 5,000 years, most of the world has been under patriarchal, elitist rule. 99% of the world's assets are in men's names. 70% of the world’s poor and 70% of illiterate adults are women. Over a billion people live on less than $1.25 a day, while the combined wealth of the world’s 1,210 billionaires is greater than three billion adults. In the US, the typical white household has a net worth 14 times the average African American or Hispanic household; people of color comprise 30% of the US population, but 60% of those incarcerated. This new moon, along with the ongoing square between Uranus and Pluto, calls us to rectify these egregious imbalances and injustices. For inspiration, see the Resources section below, watch Marianne Williamson’s three minute video on spirituality and politics at and see

Libra is classically associated with Venus, whose archetype derives from the Great Goddesses Inanna, Ishtar, and Isis; she is the Western equivalent of the Hindu Shakti, the creative power of the feminine, and central in Mayan cosmology as well. Esoterically, Venus is linked with the heart chakra, the subtle energy center which enables us to feel empathy and appreciation. Beauty opens the heart. Being in Nature opens the heart. Forgiveness and gratitude opens the heart. When our hearts are open, we know that we are an inseparable part of all Creation. We are able to see both the uniqueness and equality of all beings. We are compassionate and connected, rather than competitive and isolated.

This new moon closely opposes Eris at 21º Aries, a relatively new addition to our solar system, first sighted in 2003, the year Mars made its closest approach to the Earth in more than 60,000 years. In mythology, Eris is the sister of Ares, the Greek God of War, and is the goddess who tossed the apple in the myth of The Judgment of Paris. Her archetype as the goddess of strife reminds us of the dangers of denial, and her role in forcing Paris' choice between wealth, power, and love illustrates the necessity of determining our deepest values. Is your life in alignment with your core values? Take a careful inventory of how you are choosing to spend your time, energy, and money -- does it reflect what matters most to your heart and soul?

Juno, the asteroid named for the Roman goddess of marriage, aspects this new moon, plus Venus, Mars, Chiron, and Uranus as well, urging women to take up their power and prompting men to feel and heal their hearts. For insights on how to integrate your masculine and feminine sides, read The Maiden King by Robert Bly and Marion Woodman, Untie the Strong Woman by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, and visit Jupiter’s square to Venus (exact October 16), encourages us to question and redefine gender roles. Saturn’s grand trine with Ceres and Neptune supports listening to our bodies, feelings, and soul intentions. On October 25, Saturn makes its annual conjunction with the Sun, providing a reality check. We’ve reached a limit -- physically, emotionally, and/or spiritually. Where do you need to commit more fully? Where do you need to let go?

This new moon conjuncts Arcturus at 24º Libra, the fourth brightest star in the sky. Edgar Cayce mentioned Arcturus more than 30 times in his readings, calling it “the highest civilization in our galaxy" and “the way, the door out of this system.” Other channeled sources identify Arcturus as one of several extraterrestrial groups who seeded life on Earth, and who continue to aid humanity’s evolution. A new moon aligned with Arcturus supports the healing and opening our hearts to each other, to the heart of the Earth, and the heart of the Cosmos. For more on Arcturus as a stargate, see

In order for our relationships and world to change, we have to change. “Cultivate a life where truth is the most important thing... There is no getting away with anything... Integrity is seeing life in an integral way, that your spirituality is integral to your daily life. Commit, and find it in your heart to forgive yourself for all the things you’ve done all your life. Review all those things you feel shame about. Forgive yourself, forgive others. In the higher realms, love prevails; love is the air you breathe, the currency you use, the guideline for all your choices...” (Leslie Temple-Thurston,

Second Booklist for 2012

                   “I can’t live without books.” ~Thomas Jefferson
The other day I was thinking about the book, Fahrenheit 451, by the renowned Science Fiction writer, Ray Bradbury. Published in 1953, the story takes place in a future American Society where books are outlawed and firemen burn any house where the inhabitants have books and kill them. I cringed with that thought. Books have always been a part of my life. At four years old, I felt in love with a book too big and heavy for me to carry, but I loved looking at the magnificent photos of churches, cathedrals and faraway places. I couldn’t read but the pictures spoke to my soul.

When Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore, Maryland was integrated in the 50’s, my father immediately took me to the library and I got my first library card and from then on I lived in libraries. As most of you know, from reading Path to truth: a Spiritual Memoir, at the age of 15, I discovered the book, The Secret Wisdom of Birdey Murphy by Morey Bernstein about reincarnation that set the course of my life.

Some people have a guru as a spiritual teach or advisor; I have books. Books that have been life changing for me fall off of shelves in book stores, appear from the ether into my home library or are sent to me by other truth seeking souls. Sometimes it can be just one line, one thought or the entire book that will influence my thinking and actions. For example, I have highlighted most of Michael Singer’s book, The Untethered Soul. It speaks to my soul. Below is a list of books that I hope will speak to your soul.

1. Bradbury, Ray Fahrenheit 451
I decided to include this book because it has such a strong message about what can happen to society when one group of people rule and pass laws that are detrimental to the spiritual growth of humankind. The movie, based on the book, was made in 1954.

2. Campbell, Joseph The Power of Myths
Did you ever watch Joseph Campbell on PBS with Bill Moyers? If you missed any of those episodes then you definitely must read this book. Through mythology it connected the dots of the spiritual and physical worlds. In the book, Campbell writes about his favorite place to visit-the Cathedral of Chartres where he could view the Black Madonna.  He had visited the Cathedral many times studying its mysticism and metaphysical secrets. A must read is the chapter titled, “The Gift of the Goddess.”  I also have visited the Cathedral, and knew that one visit wouldn't be enough.

3. Jung, Carl Memories, Dreams, Reflections
For many years I have read about Carl Jung and his works, but I had never ventured to read his words. Well, this year, I decided I wanted to get to know Carl Jung and I fell in love with his soul. He was crazy in a good way.  I learned a lot from this one book about my own spiritual path. I had a lot in common with Carl Jung. One in particular-- books were our spiritual guides and teachers. I plan to write a much more extensive blog about Carl and me.

 4. Lipton, Bruce The Biology of Belief
I had listed The Biology of Belief on the first 2012 booklist without an annotation. Because it is a thought provoking book, I decided to include it on this list.  Biology wasn’t one of my favorite subjects. I didn’t like dissecting animals. But this book makes biology come alive. If you can understand how the cells in your bodies work, than you will know how the universe works, (As above so below). Lipton shows how the cells of your body are affected by your thoughts, which speaks to your health, medicine, and money.

5. Michael, JJ Five Days of Darkness
Sometimes when I write I am in a zone. For most of Five Days of Darkness, I was in that deep zone and the information just flowed. All of my fiction books have spiritual and esoteric information wrapped around human challenges. Like Fahrenheit 451 it is about the battle between light and darkness and how this age old battle affects everyone. Meet Charlie. He is autistic and telepathic-a Rainbow child of the future to show humankind the way. Meet Senator Richard Windham, a walk-in from Planet X, who knows how to control humans through their minds.

 6. Troward, Thomas The Creative Process in the Individual
Thomas Troward was an influential writer and teacher during the New Thought Movement. Today, many of his teachings are taught in the Science of Mind Centers. Troward believed that if we think, therefore, we create. The problem is when we are not using the appropriate process to create in the right way. In this text, Troward gives you that process. Since our souls are playing on this physical plane let’s learn the rules or laws that govern this world, so we can play the game to win. I hope you will now ask the question to win what? The answer doesn’t begin with an “M”.  Leave a comment or email me at if you know the answer or want to know the answer.

7. Singer, Michael The Untethered Soul:the Journey Beyond Yourself
The Untethered Soul was published in 2007, and I’m surprised that it took five years for it to gain recognition. Then I realized that human consciousness was not ready for the information given in this book. As we move closer to December 21, 2012, the shift in human consciousness, more souls are awakening and ready for the next step. This is a transformational book, a must read. I’m now reading it for a second time and as I mentioned above I have highlighted most of the text. The subject of the book is YOUR SOUL.
