You can't go anywhere in DC before the conversation turns to the 2011 and 2012 Budget and the battle between the Republican and the Democratic parties. Like most people in this powerful town, I, too, was glued to the newsmedia and watched the battle with fascination. Last week they were fighting over a rider that would affect women's health care. The Republicans wanted to cut the funding of Planned Parenthood. For a moment I thought I was in the Dark Ages. Then I remembered that we are still in a patriarchal society that is fighting to hold on to its power.
We always have to look at the hidden energy behind any physical event in this reality. Symbolically, this budget rider represented the reality whereby men are the decision-makers and hold positions of power and prestige and define reality. Unfortunately their reality doesn't give women equal rights. Have you noticed that it is those patriarchal societies that have contempt for women and try to prevent women from emancipating themselves are the ones having the most difficulties in today's world? Not funding Planned Parenthood is just another example of too much male energy dominating the world and creating an imbalance in male and female energies. To restore the balance, a new reality or a shift in human consciousness is being birth as a dynamic female energy flows through the universe. It's not about power over one or the other; it's about balance.
The symbol for the Goddess energy is the powerful geometrical shape-- the Vesica Pisces. The Vesica Pisces is the intersecting of two overlapping spheres, representing the woman's womb and her ability to give birth. Like the numerical 11:11, it is an awaking symbol to higher consciousness. So, don't be surprised if you see this symbol everywhere. It is a reminder of a new reality of love, harmony and balance being birth in the midst of all the global turmoil.
